you need 19 bottles

if there are 80 guests and there is 6 ounces a person you multiply 80 x 6 which equals 480

then divide 480 by 25.4 which equals exactly 18.89763779527559

but then round it up to 19 because the number after the decimal is over 5 .

Final answer:

To serve all the guests at the wedding, you would need 19 champagne bottles.

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the number of champagne bottles needed to serve all the guests, we need to determine the total volume of champagne required and then divide it by the volume of each bottle.

Given that the glasses are 6 oz per person and there are 80 guests, the total volume of champagne needed is 6 oz * 80 = 480 oz.

Since each champagne bottle is 25.4 oz, we can find the number of bottles needed by dividing the total volume of champagne required by the volume of each bottle: 480 oz / 25.4 oz = 18.90 bottles.

Since you can't have a fraction of a bottle, you would need to round up to the nearest whole number.

Therefore, you would need 19 champagne bottles to serve all the guests at the wedding.
