Explanation:

1. Draw the diagonal BD of length 6 cm as base.

2. Draw perpendicular bisector of DB which intersects DB at O.

3. Take O as centre and draw an arc of 3 cm above and below the line segment BD.

4. Join A, B, C and D.

Hence, ABCD is the required

square.
