How do you think early chinese history would be if the silk road had never developed?(2-5 sentences long)

Explanation: I think it would be different as we know it because the Silk road was a vital thing that was established by the Chinese. Possibly, things today in modern China could be a lot different. This is because they could trade with the "outside world" things they needed. Also, recall that the Silk Road was invented to help traders trade with others safely. So, without this road, many would have died taking another path, or trade would have been less common, affecting our modern world.
