How do hereditary factor transfer from generation to generation?.

Answer:

1 copy is inherited from the mother. (with the females egg). The other part comes from the father. (with the sperm). an egg and sperm contain 23 chromosomes each. WIth the inheritation it gets passed from generation to generation. The DNA in the body is inherited by the parents. With that DNA the next parents pass it to the next and the next. This way the traits of a person get passed down and down. Some traits may be dominate for the next generation inheritates that rather than the parents. For example say on your mothers side your grandfather has green eyes. There green eyes would be a dominate trait and your parents have blue and brown eyes but you are born with green eyes. You got them from your grandfather because he had a dominate trait. Hope this helps.
