When I was younger, I was a very idealistic person. I believed that if you worked hard and did the right thing, good things would happen to you. I thought that if you were a good person, you would be rewarded and if you did something wrong, you would be punished. As I got older, I realized that life isn't always that simple. I learned that even when you work hard, bad things can still happen. I also learned that even when people do bad things, they don't always get what they deserve. This has made me more empathetic and understanding of other people, as I now understand that life is often unpredictable and unfair.
