Explanation:

Count all the numbers in the chart

12 + 8 + 10 = 30

First: 12 + 8 = 20

Next: 20 + 10 = 30

Divide 120 by 30 to get 4, which is how many people of a number is chosen

If a number is 12, and the people per number is 4

12 x 4 = 48
