Answer:

(1, -9)

Explanation:

The slope-intercept formula of a line is: y = mx + b

m = slope

b = y-intercept

We know one point already.

3 = 3(5) + b

3 = 15 + b

3 - 15 = 15 - 15 + b

-12 = b

So now we know the formula: y = 3x - 12

We can plug in 1 as x to find another point

y = 3(1) - 12

y = 3 - 12

y = -9
