2:1:5 is the ratio so you add up together (2+1+5) = 8
78.40 / 8 = 9.8 (8 shares of £78.40)
times each value in ratio by £9.80
P:C:B
(2x9.8):(1x9.8):(5x9.8)
you should be able to work it out from there by yourself by taking away the value of Brian’s share by Colins’ share.
