Answer: The answer is 2 cubicles

Step-by-step explanation: To find how many cubicles are carpeted you must find what 1/4 of 8 is. In order to do that you must multiply 1/4 by 8.

To do this you must first turn 8 into 8/1 (they are both equal to the same value but it is easier to multiply in fraction form) and multiply it into 1/4

8 and 1 = 8 and 4 and 1 = 4, so you are left with 8/4 which is equal to 2
