Drew wants to wallpaper his bedroom. The room is 10 ft long, 12 ft wide, and 8 ft tall. How many square feet of wallpaper does he need? So I got this question wrong and am wondering how I can get 352 square feet as my answer since that is what my teacher got and I don't know she got that so can someone plz help explain

Answer:

you have four walls. two of them 12*8 and other two is 10*8 ( we used 8 in both because its the height of the room) . so it goes( 2*12*8)+(2*10*8) and it goes 352

Explanation:

lets say that walls A 12*8 and walls B 10*8. you have 4 walls ta wallpaper .

for walls A= 2*12*8=192

for walls B=2*10*12=160

in total you need 160+192= 352 square feet wallpaper
