What is the ordered pair for Point D?

Enter the coordinates in the boxes.

A coordinate plane has an x-axis from 0 to 10 in increments of 1 and a y-axis from 0 to 10 in increments of 1. Point A is plotted 6 units to the right of and 2 units above the origin. Point B is plotted 2 units to the right of and 1 unit above the origin. Point C is plotted 1 unit to the right of and 4 units above the origin. Point D is plotted 2 units to the right of and 6 units above the origin. Point M is plotted 5 units to the right of and 7 units above the origin. Point N is plotted 6 units to the right of and 9 units above the origin. Point Q is plotted 7 units to the right of and 5 units above the origin. Point R is plotted 9 units to the right of and 8 units above the origin.

Answer:

The answer is (2,6)

Explanation:

Find D then imagine you are drawing a line down from point D and matching it to its number. You will see that it will match up with 2. Do the same to the side. Follow point D and draw an imaginary line to the number it matches up with on the side. You will see that it matches up with 6. ALWAYS REMEMBER!! x comes first the y. (x,y)

Answer: The ordered pair for point D is (2, 6)

Step-by-step explanation:

Look at point D, now go to the X-axis. Then create an imaginary line from point D down until it reaches the X-axis. Look at the number and you found your x, remember, the x coordinate always stays on the left side. Now go to point D again and draw an imaginary line to the left, look at the number, 6, and there you have the y coordinate. The y coordinate always goes on the left and after the x coordinate.
