The answer is 8x + 2y.

Explanation:

First, you're gonna add both 2x and 6x. (2x + 6x = 8x)

Then you're gonna subtract 3y and y. (3y - y = 2y)

*Just because there is no number on the y doesn't mean it doesn't have a number. And the number for y is 1.

Since both 8x and 2y are both positive, the answer will be 8x + 2y.
