If JK || MN, then angle JKM is equal 61;

Also, angle JLK = 39 degrees as it is opposite angle to MLN.

Thus;


\begin{gathered} 3x+5+39+61=180\ldots\ldots\ldots\ldots\text{.sum of angles in triangle JLK} \\ 3x+105=180 \\ 3x=180-105 \\ 3x=75 \\ x=(75)/(3) \\ x=25 \end{gathered}

Thus x= 25 proves that JK || MN
