R(x) = 8x/(x + 19)

When x = -19 the denominator = zero so there is a vertical asymptote which is

x = -19.

If we divide 8x by x + 19 we get 8 remainder -152.

So horizontal asymptote is R(x) = 8.

As the degree of the numerator and denominator are the same ( both 1) there is no oblique asymptote.
