(2x^2+5)-(4x-1) why isnt it complete

If it does, it is because the equation is not yet simplified. You can still change its structure by distributing the negative sign to the right parenthsis to make it a whole polynomial.


(2x^(2) + 5) - (4x-1)\\2x^(2) + 5 - 4x + 1\\2x^(2) - 4x + 6\\or


2 (x^(2) - 2x + 3)
