Something positive Andre Jackson did was that he expanded voting he allowed more men to vote( men didn’t need to own land to vote)

1. Andrew Jackson helped expand the power of presidency
2. In 1832 when The Nullification Proclamation was issued Andrew Jackson swore to enforce it with arms if necessary which then resulted in an entire war being prevented
3. He was the first self made wealthy person to be in office, in fact Andrew Jackson was actually born into poverty and worked hard for everything he had
4. In 1816 the second bank of the United States was authorized which Jackson helped eliminate by rejecting the finding if congress that the bank was legal
5. Andrew Jackson expanded voting rights to the “common man”
6. In 1836 Texas formally declared that it was independent from Mexico and Andrew Jackson supported this
7. The Jackson administration terminated the national debt
8. Andrew Jackson helped to form the first treaties for the government with in the east, before and commerce and trade was with Europe
