Answer

A percentage is the same as a decimal

Changing from a decimal to a percentage is done by multiplying the decimal value by 100 and adding % sign.
Example: 0.10 becomes 0.10 x 100 = 10%

Changing from a percent to a decimal, divide by 100 and drop the % sign.
Example: 10% becomes 10/100 = .1 or .10

So if you are solving math problems that include a percent, change to a decimal!

If you need to answer as a percentage, divide the numerator by the denominator for a decimal then multiply by 100!
