SOLUTION

In the first image

Looking at the first graph, the curve at the center below agrees with


\lim _(x\to1)f(x)\text{ }

Because if you move from left to right down the curve, you will still arrive at the point where x = 1 and y = 4.5

For the second graph, if you move from the left to the point where x = 1, you get y = 1, but coming from the right, you get to a point where x = 1 and y = -2.

Hence the second graph does not agree.

For the image below

Looking at this graph, moving from the left, x = 1 at y = -3 and coming from the right, x = 1 at y = 4,

Hence this graph does not agree too.
