Explanation:

The basic formula is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

If you look y is at positive 2. Then you can count from the y intercept to the point, it's down 3 over 1 so it would be -3/1 which is just -3

I’m not sure but I know for sure it is decreasing, so the equation is negative
