On the 15th of October, our school participated in the annual inter-school competition held at the Civic Centre. This event was a platform for students from different schools to showcase their talents and compete against each other in various categories such as music, dance, and debate. I was thrilled to be a part of the team representing our school in the debate category.

In preparation for the competition, our team met regularly for practices and discussions. We brainstormed ideas, did research, and honed our debating skills. We also received guidance and feedback from our coach, who helped us to refine our arguments and delivery.

The event itself was a thrilling experience. There were a total of eight schools participating, and the competition was fierce. Each team brought their A-game, and the debates were intense. Our team debated on the topic of "The impact of social media on our society." We put forth a strong argument and presented our points with confidence.
