“Those who do not want to imitate anything produce nothing.”

Can someone explain the meaning of this a little more deeply. Thanks

You have to study from the master! Salvador Dali was frustrating learning modern art and he wanted to learn from the great master, but to get better on your art or anything you want to achieve, you need to imitate/learn the techniques from other, so you can become better. Kids learn to tied their shoes by watching and trying to imitate from their parents and then the child learned but if he doesn’t imitate then he won’t know how to tied their shoes. Hope it helps

Answer: They start writing the book, but have no experience or any idea how to flesh it out. but they're so desperate to not copy anyone else's ideas or styles that they refuse to read other books, so they have no clue what sounds good, how a good story paces, or what to avoid.

Explanation: Here's what I found hopefully it helps.
