(-2,3) or x= -2 and y= 3

I didn't graph this, but you could.

For the first equation: Subtract x from both sides to get 2y= -x +4

Next divide both sides by 2 to get y= -1/2x + 2 (Now graph this)

For the second equation subtracted both sides by -3x to get 2y= -3x

Next, divide both sides by 2 to get y= -3/2x (Now graph this)



I used elimination. I wrote both equations out then subtracted 2y from both of them then did -2x = 4

x= -2

then I substitued -2 + 2y = 4

6 = 2y

y=3
