5x^2+13x-6=0

then multiply 5 by 6 to get 30 and 15 times 2 is thirty and 15-2=13

5x^2+15x-2x-6=0

then split in half and factor both sides

5x^2+15x factored is 5x(x+3)

-2x-6 factored is -2(x+3)

so the answer is (x+3) and (5x-2)
