What impact does the 2nd amendment have on society? What do you believe the founding fathers intended when they wrote the words "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. The 2nd amendment has impacted our society through safety standards as far as schools, airports and jobs. Its given every citizen a chance and right to protect them selves against violent situations while also increasing the risk of violent attacks. The second amendment has not only saved millions of lives but taken just as many from lack of gun control. The founding fathers wrote those words to make known that the government/military can not take away the right for people to bear arms. I think we do/don’t need more gun control in this country.
