(2)/(3) (n-6)=5n-43

Distribute:

((2)/(3) )(n)+((2)/(3) )(-6)=5n-43

(2)/(3) n-4=5n-43

Subtract 5n from both sides:

(2)/(3) n-4-5n=5n-43-5n

-(13)/(3) n-4=-43

Add 4 to both sides:

-(13)/(3) n-4+4=-43+4

-(13)/(3) n=-39

Multiply both sides by -3/13:

-(3)/(13) *(-(13)/(3) n)=-(3)/(13) *(-39)

\fbox{n = 9}
