Bonnie volunteers to bring bags of candy to her child's class for the Halloween party this year. She buys one bag of candy A containing 75 pleces of candy, one bag ofcandy B containing 175 pieces of candy, and one bag of candy containing 325 pieces of candy. She needs to use all the candy to create identical treat bags. How manytreat bags can Bonnie make so that each one has the same number and variety of candy? How many of each type of candy will be in each bag?

Cady A--75pieces

Candy B--175 pieces

Candy C--325 pieces

75=5x5x3

175=5x5x7

325=5x5x13

As we can see the highest common factor is 5x5=25

So,

The number of bags that Bonnie can make so that each one has the same number of candies is 25

Now,

(75)/(25)=3
(175)/(25)=7

(325)/(25)=13

Number of candies from bag A of the treat bag=3

Number of candies from bag B of the treat bag=7

Number of candies from bag C of the treat bag=1
