Me. Strand mowed 3/8 of his lawn. His son mowed 1/3 of it. Who mowed most of the lawn? How mush of the lawn still needs to be mowed?

3/8 * 3/3 = 9/24
1/3 * 8/8 = 8/24

So strand mowed more of the lawn.

9/24 + 8/24 = 17/24

24/24 - 17/24 = 7/24 of the lawn left
