Explanation:

Open up the parenthesis on the left side

-8 < 32 - 8x

Isolate -8x

- 8 - 32 < -8x
We can rewrite the inequality to make it easier to solve

-8x > -8 - 32

-8x > -40

Now solve for X, keep in mind you must switch the inequality sign when dividing by negatives

x < 5
