Reforestation is the process of replanting trees in an area, thereby regenerating the forest by replanting trees in areas that have been destroyed by humans for their own benefit

Forest land reclamation is the process of reclaiming formerly forested land in order to return it to a sustainable forestry use after mining. It is, in theory, a method of developing the best possible mine soil for trees and establishing a population of plant species that will grow into a healthy forest ecosystem without further human interference.
