X+2y=3x+4 into y=mx+b form

Answer: y=x+2

Explanation:

you subtract x on the left on both sides then you'll have 2y=2x+4 we have to get y by itself so divide it by 2 on both side and when you do that on the right you divide both 2x and 4 by 2 thus giving y=x+2

2y = 3x + 4 - x

y = (2x + 4)/2

y = x + 2
