Let's Check Our Work 57.71 ft. 13.96 ft. Let's check to make sure the Pythagorean Theorem works for this right triangle as well. 56 ft. Enter 13.962 +562 in the left side of the table. Enter 57.712 in the right side of the table. 14° (Notice how they're not *exactly* the same. Because we rounded the values for the two sides we found, our two sides of the Pythagorean Theorem are off by a slight rounding error. It doesn't mean we made a mistake, it's just what is called a "rounding error"). The more decimals we used for each irrational side length, the more accurate our Pythagorean Theorem check would be Sum of Legs Squared Hypotenuse Squared

Sum of legs squared:

56^2+13.96^2=3330.8816

Hypotenuse squared:

57.71^2=3330.4441
