14 groups because if you split the 7 days in a week by half, you get 14.

There are 7 groups of 1/2 days in a week.
Given there are 7 days in a week, we can divide 7 by 1/2 to find that:
7 / 1/2 = 14
Hence, 14 groups of 1/2 days are in 1 week.
