to find the equation of any line we have to first find the slope. the slope formula is:


(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

our slope here would be 8/13

now we input the points in the equation

y = mx + b

then we find b to be -3(7/13)

so the final equation would be:


y = (8x)/(13) - 3( (7)/(13) )
