a) Given: f(x)=2x^2-2 Find: f(3)
f(3)= 2(3)^2-2 => 18-2 => 16
Ans: f(3)=16
b) Given: g(x)=6x+3 Find: x when g(x)=48
48=6x+3 => 45=6x => x=45/6 => x=15/2
Ans: 15/2
c) Given: g(x)=6x+3 Find: g(1/3)
g(1/3)=6(1/3)+3 => 2+5 => 7
Ans: g(1/3)=7
