it means

area of veranda =outer rectangle-inner rectangle

⇒area= (20+3+3)*(15+3+3)-20*15

⇒area=26*21-300

⇒area= 546-300

⇒area=246 m²

Hence , the cost of flooring =246*200=49200 rs.
