Explanation:

I believe someone already added these answers. I'm actually not clear how they can be easily derived, but in an effort to better understand the impact of both, I took a few points and added them to DESMOS, along with the equation and sliders for h and k. See the attached.

I just moved the sliders and quickly found that k = -2, and h = 1, match the data well.

So I can't explain a mathematical process, but thanks to DESMOS we can see a solution.
