THen you get a discount of 10%.

On top of that amount, you pay sales tax of 7%.

So,

10% means 10/100 = 0.1

So, we subtract this amount:

2.19 - (0.1)(2.19) = 1.971

Now, we need to add 7% as sales tax,

7/100 = 0.07

Thus,

1.971 + (0.07)(1.971) = 2.109

Rounding to 2 decimal place, 2.11

Correct answer is $2.11, Answer choice C
