any help please - Simplify the expression 3(x + 2) –5(2x + 1). Factorise the expression 12x –18y and 2x2–5x –3. (3+6=9)

Simplifying the expression, the answer would be -7x+1

Solution

3 (x+2) - 5 (2x+1)

3x + 6 - 10x -5

COLLECT LIKE TERMS

3x - 10x + 6 - 5

= -7x+1
