GUEST'S ID
There are a few different situations in which it may be appropriate to recheck a guest's identification:
- When a guest checks in to a hotel or rental property, it is common for the staff to request and photocopy the guest's identification as part of the registration process. This is usually done for security and liability purposes.
- If a guest is paying for their stay with a credit card that does not match the name on their identification, the hotel or rental property may request additional identification to ensure that the guest is authorized to use the card.
- If a guest is behaving in a way that raises concerns about their identity or the validity of their identification, it may be necessary to recheck their identification to verify their identity and confirm that they are who they claim to be.
- In some cases, government regulations or company policies may require that identification be rechecked on a regular basis, such as every 24 hours or every week.
Hope This Helps You!
