Ln 4 - Ln x = 2
In logs, when there is a minus you have to divide so the first step is to do the following :
Ln (4/x) = 2
Then you have to convert the logarithm into exponential form using that ln (x) = b is equal to x = e^b. Therefore the next step should look like this :
4/x = e^2
Then multiply both sides by x, which becomes :
4 = (e^2)(x)
Then divide both sides by e^2. Which becomes :
4/e^2 = x
0.541341 = x
To the nearest hundredth, it becomes 0.54
