The answer would be 5y+6z.
The reason for this is because only like terms can be added and subtracted.

Answer:

Explanation:

7y+5z-2y+z

Group the two y and the two z together

7y-2y = 5y

5z+z= 6z

(a variable with out a number is = to 1)

so it would be 5y+6z

Hope this helps
