APOSTLE PAUL IMPACT
The early Christian church was greatly influenced by the Apostle Paul, who was also instrumental in bringing Christianity to every corner of the Roman Empire.
Paul had two effects on the church in the first century:
- Paul penned several letters, collectively referred to as the "Pauline Epistles," which were distributed across the early Christian communities. These letters defined the major doctrines of the Christian religion and offered advice and instruction on how to live as a disciple of Jesus.
- His missionary journeys: Paul made numerous trips across the Roman Empire to promote the gospel of Christ and found new churches. On these journeys, he encountered many difficulties and risks, but his tenacity and commitment to sharing the gospel had a significant influence.
