Each dimension should be increased by four times so that the area is tripled and each dimension is equal in length.

Area=length x width

a=l x w

But , we want to triple than area

(x+6) ( x + 3)=3(18)
x exponent 2 + 3x + 6x +18=54
x exponent 2 +9x+18=54
x exponent 2 +9x -36=0
x=4
