Did you know that when you buy lottery tickets you are actually helping to fund parks and schools for your community? Recently cash prizes for the lottery have sky rocketed to over $500,000,000. Have you ever thought about what you would do if you won all of that money?

For this assignment you will not think about all of the cars you would buy but instead you need to think about the good that you could do for others. To begin this assignment you need to do research on some charities that you would like to help out. The charities can be local or they can be in another country across the world.

After deciding which charity you would like to donate money to, you will write a letter to the charity explain why you would like to donate large amount of money to their charity. Tell them what inspired you and how you would like to see the money used.

You must also include a check with your letter. The check must look official and have the amount you are choosing to donate. You have the option of drawing a check and taking a picture of the check and uploading it or scanning it in. You may also design a check on your computer or upload an image. Be creative!
