1849 Letter
Imagine that your child has left home to seek his or
her fortune in the goldfields of California during the
Gold Rush. Write a letter using language that
sounds as if it is 1849. Be as creative as you would
like. Send the printed letter in a sealed envelope with
your child's name on the outside to school by
Friday, January 13, 2023. The "Pony Express" will
deliver the letter during our stay in Coloma.
Done
This is very important, so please make it a priority
and take time out of your busy schedule to write a
letter. We don't want any students to feel left out.
The students really enjoy receiving and reading their
letters.
