Answer: the equation will be y = 5/2x -5

Explanation:

First find the slope of the line by finding the change in the y coordinates and diving it by the change in the x coordinates.

(6,10)

(4,5)

5 - 10 = -5

4 - 6 = -2

Slope: 5/2

(4,5)

(-2,-10)

-10 - 5 = - 15

-2-4= - 6

-15/-6 = 5/2

Now we know the slope is 2, so use the formula y=mx + b to solve for the y intercept which is b by using one of the given points.

y = mx + b

5 = 5/2(4) + b

5 = 10 + b

b = -5
