Explanation:

So first you plug in the values you know into the slop int. form, equation, in which it is y = mx +b. When you plug in the slope value then you will get the equation of y = -2x +b, in which then you have to solve for the b value.

In order to solve for the b value, you then plug in the x and y values of the coordinate that is given so what you would do is this: 6 = -2(5) +b

6 = -10 +b

16 = b

So then you find out b is 16 in which you just plug back into the equation. So finally you write the equation, y = -2x+16.
