GCF of 28 and 24: 4
We will divide the expression by 4 first:
28/4+24/4 = 7+6
Remember, we are trying to create an equivalent expression, so we will need to include the GCF in front of the parentheses, so it can distribute into (7+6):
Answer: 4(7+6)
