If gunpowder contains 65% nitre, 15% sulphur, and the rest is charcoal, then the total percentage of nitre and sulphur is 65 + 15 = 80%.

Since the rest of the gunpowder is made up of charcoal, the percentage of charcoal is 100 - 80 = 20%.

Since the weight of the gunpowder is 8kg, the weight of the nitre in the gunpowder is 8 * 65/100 = 5.2 kg.

The weight of the sulphur in the gunpowder is 8 * 15/100 = 1.2 kg.

Finally, the weight of the charcoal in the gunpowder is 8 * 20/100 = 1.6 kg.

Therefore, the gunpowder contains 5.2 kg of nitre, 1.2 kg of sulphur, and 1.6 kg of charcoal.
