Marxism, a polysemantic term, can denote very different theoretical notions or political practices: few bodies of ideas are more extensive and contradictory than those labeled "Marxism".[1] This situation is due, on the one hand, to the fact that the founder of Marxism, the German philosopher of Christian Jewish origin[2] Karl Marx, had a vast curiosity about many aspects of humanity, doubled by a vigor commensurate with this curiosity.
